Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Pipe fitters to support commercial and industrial projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role involves the installation, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems used for heating, cooling, water, and process systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical ability, a safety-first mindset, and experience working on large-scale construction or mission-critical projects. Pipe fitters in this role will collaborate closely with welders, plumbers, and project teams to ensure installations meet applicable codes and specifications.
Duties And Responsibilities- Install, assemble, fabricate, and maintain piping systems (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and weld pipe to required specifications
- Install valves, hangers, supports, and related equipment
- Perform hydrostatic and pressure testing of piping systems
- Collaborate with welders, plumbers, and project teams to complete installations
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- 3+ years of pipe fitting experience (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings
- Experience with pipe layout, takeoffs, and installation techniques
- Knowledge of piping systems, materials, and tools
- Ability to work with various fitting methods (threaded, grooved, welded)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Experience in data centers, industrial plants, or large commercial construction
- Welding experience or ability to work closely with certified welders
- Experience with high-pressure systems, chilled water, or process piping
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
No formal education requirement specified; trade school or apprenticeship training in pipe fitting is a plus.
