Salary: £29,000 - £35,000
39 hours per week | Rotating shift pattern (1 in 3 weekends)

We're offering an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities team, supporting the delivery of essential services that keep secure environments safe, compliant and operational.

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including associated administrative tasks
• Fault finding and problem solving on a range of electrical systems
• Like-for-like replacements and minor electrical works
• Carrying out electrical inspections and testing in accordance with BS7671
  , with accurate recording of results
• Ensuring all electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational
• Supporting the Responsible Person and Authorised Person when required
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards, risk assessments, and safe systems of work are consistently followed
• Assisting with escorting duties and other site-related tasks as required

Requirements

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• BS7671 18th Edition (17th Edition considered with upskilling available)
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Experience in planned and preventative maintenance
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Experience working to tight deadlines
• Comfortable working at heights
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations
• Basic IT skills

Desirable:

• Experience with fire alarm and CCTV systems

Clearance: Security Clearance, Standard DBS and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) are required.
