Electrician

Enjoy a permanent Electrician role with a basic salary of around £37,500, up to around £500 extra per on-call week, plus a company van, fuel card and tools provided from day one.

There are  two separate permanent positions available, each covering its own patch:
Position 1 – Rugby, Warwickshire and surrounding areas
Position 2 – Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas

You will be based on  one of these patches , rather than expected to cover both areas. Join a well-established property maintenance contractor delivering essential repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.

This is a great opportunity to join a stable team, with Monday to Friday hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm and an on-call rota of around 1 week in every 5 to 6 weeks. With the additional on-call earnings, there is potential to earn around £42,000 per year.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer or Electrical Maintenance Engineer within social housing or domestic maintenance.

As an Electrician, you will be:
Carrying out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance in occupied properties
Fault finding and completing reactive electrical repairs
Completing electrical installations, EICRs and remedial works
Carrying out inspection and testing
Completing relevant certificates and reports
Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible
Travelling throughout your allocated Rugby or Stratford-upon-Avon patch

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:
NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification with the appropriate competency/AM2 route
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points and no recent driving bans
Ability to pass a Basic DBS check
2391 Inspection & Testing would be beneficial but is not essential
JIB card, Part P, PAT Testing, Water Regulations or Unvented Hot Water qualifications would also be beneficial

Location & travel
There are  two separate vacancies covering two different patches . One position covers  Rugby, Warwickshire and surrounding areas , while the second covers  Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas . Successful candidates will be allocated to one patch and will not be expected to routinely cover both. A company van and fuel card are provided for travel between jobs.
