The Nursing Tech II performs advanced patient care procedures (such as initiation of intravenous therapy, splinting/casting, suturing, and simple patient teaching) under the director of a licensed Nurse or Provider and/or performs advanced support procedures for the operation of the Emergency Department. Coordinates equipment and/or supply systems. Performs sterile processing procedures.
Qualifications- High school or equivalent plus trade or vocational school in medical/surgical patient care.
- 3-12 months patient care experience required. One to three years experience preferred.
