Job Description The Role
We are seeking a level 3 (or equivalent) qualified Technician to join Brayleys Cars Limited’s Honda dealership in Ruislip. It’s a fast‑paced environment where you will be part of the team reporting to the Aftersales Manager and will work on routine service and maintenance as well as complex technical problems.
Brayleys represents multiple brands including Honda, Nissan, KIA, Mazda, Hyundai, Renault, Dacia and Suzuki across London, the Home Counties, the Thames Valley, the West Midlands and the Greater Manchester area.
Unusually for our industry, the structure and workflows across our businesses mean that we can offer this role with NO REQUIREMENT FOR WEEKEND WORKING

With NO REQUIREMENT FOR WEEKEND WORKING
, what does a typical weekday look like for one of our workshop technicians?
- Completing scheduled vehicle servicing in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Undertaking diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issues
- Conducting electronic visual health checks (eHVC) on all vehicles and providing a comprehensive report with expert advice and recommendations for customers
- Liaising directly with customers and service advisors, providing outstanding customer service
- Ensuring vehicle servicing activities are completed in a safe and high‑quality manner, in line with both internal and manufacturer requirements
- Participating in ongoing training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date
Ideally, you will be a certified level 3 Technician, hold a full UK driving licence, and have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar brand. In addition to your prior experience, you must demonstrate:
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate technical information to a non‑technical audience
- Outstanding organisation and time‑management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- A commitment to treating all visitors to the business as they would a valued guest in our own homes
If you are not yet qualified to a level 3 technician, but are interested in starting a career in automotive repair, we offer apprenticeship programmes to help you gain the necessary skills.
