Vehicle Technician

Position Overview

Vehicle Technician at Northgate Vehicle Hire – Runcorn. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the company’s fleet of vans and cars.

Hours:

42.5 hours, day shifts only. Overtime is available and paid at time and a half.

• Inspect, service, and repair vehicles to ensure safety and legal compliance for customer hire.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in a variety of vehicles, including hybrid and electric models.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as brake repairs, tail lift servicing, and electrical troubleshooting.

• Fully qualified Level 3 Technician / Mechanic.
• Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicle systems is an advantage.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and meet regulatory standards.

• Excellent basic salary.
• Bonus scheme up to 8% of salary.
• Additional overtime paid at time and a half.
