Diagnostic Technician

Overview

Diagnostic Vehicle Technician – Runcorn. On Target Earnings: £44,500 (depending on experience). Full-Time - Permanent – Runcorn, Ford – Pentagon Motor Group. We’re looking for an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our expanding aftersales team and support a franchised dealership environment.

• Identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
• Working with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data.
• Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer standards.
• Support workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction, while helping to develop the technical capability of the wider team.

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)

• Salary from £37,570 to £39,780, depending on experience
• Superb weekly time saved and team bonus scheme – potential to earn an OTE of up to £44,500
