Goldin is seeking a highly creative and driven Videographer to join our growing content team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing compelling visual content that brings our brand, stories, and collectibles to life across digital platforms, live events, and company initiatives. Working closely with producers, editors, production coordinators, and production assistants, you'll help create premium content that engages collectors and fans around the world.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for cinematic storytelling, understands how to shoot for modern social media platforms, as well as You Tube, and thrives in fast-paced production environments. You should be equally comfortable filming polished interviews, high-energy event coverage, product showcases, and creator-driven content while maintaining exceptional production quality and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesVideo Production: Capture high-quality video content for social media, You Tube, marketing campaigns, live events, interviews, product features, behind-the-scenes content, and branded storytelling. You’ll be responsible for filming high-res product beauty footage of collectibles which include cards, game-worn memorabilia, comic books, movie props, coins, magazines, and more.
Cinematic Storytelling: Compose visually engaging shots using thoughtful framing, movement, lighting, and camera techniques that elevate the storytelling experience across multiple content formats.
One-Person Crew Mindset: Comfort operating as a run-and-gun creator—handling camera, basic lighting (e.g., lightweight LED panels/softboxes), and audio simultaneously without needing a grip or director on set.
Social-First Capture: Shoot with platform-specific content in mind, capturing footage optimized for vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) formats while anticipating editing needs. Proficiency with shooting on IPhones, Sony Mirrorless Cameras, Canon C70, and Canon C100.
Lighting & Audio:
Set up and operate professional lighting, microphones, wireless audio systems, and camera support equipment to ensure broadcast-quality visuals and sound.
Event Coverage: Occasional travel to card shows, on location live events, and special productions to document content efficiently in dynamic environments.
Equipment Management: Maintain, organize, transport, and troubleshoot cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, batteries, media cards, and production accessories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with editors, producers, designers, and social teams to ensure footage is captured with post-production workflows and creative objectives in mind.
BRoll Archiving: Digital Asset Management post filming, organizing project files, backing up raw footage.
Creative Contribution: Stay current on social media production trends, camera techniques, emerging equipment, and content styles while continuously contributing fresh creative ideas to improve production quality during shoots.
Post Production: Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and Premiere pro and programs like Audition are a plus.
Photography: Ability to capture secondary still photography (product shots, behind-the-scenes, event photos, You Tube thumbnails) on shoot days as needed.
