Catering Assistant

Berkeley Scott is recruiting a Catering Assistant for temporary agency work in Rushden and the surrounding area. This role starts in September, offering flexible shifts across schools and hospitality settings. You will support kitchen teams with food preparation and meal service, ensuring high standards are maintained. The position pays between £12.71 and £14.00 per hour, depending on experience and the end client.

• Supporting kitchen teams with food preparation and service.
• Serving meals in school and catering environments.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Washing up and keeping work areas organised.
• Working as part of a friendly and professional team.

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant or within a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one if required).
• Two employment references.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage but is not essential.
