RN Circulator On Call

The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospital in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Operating Room Circulator RN to join their Surgical Services team. As an RN Circulator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout every phase of surgery — from pre‑op to post‑op — while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.

You’ll help maintain sterile technique, ensure surgical readiness, and support safe, positive patient outcomes in a fast‑paced OR environment.

Schedule:

Full‑Time | Day Shift + On‑Call Rotation

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies.
• Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during and after procedures.
• Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORN standards.
• Properly handle and label surgical specimens.
• Maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness.
• Mentor and support new staff and nursing students.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards.

• Current Alabama RN license (or compact equivalent).
• BLS, Hospital‑based ACLS and PALS required.
• 3+ months of nursing experience preferred.
• OR experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical‑thinking skills.
