The Staff Pad has partnered with a premiere hospital in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg (PRN) for a dynamic inpatient care team.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast‑paced acute care environment, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
Schedule:
PRN | Days
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes in status
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and ongoing care
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and infection control
- Active LPN license in the state of Alabama
- 3+ months of nursing experience required;
Acute care experience preferred - Strong communication, collaboration, clinical judgment & critical‑thinking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced hospital setting
