Benefits eligibility is based on employment status and company plan guidelines.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
- Answer resident call lights promptly and provide compassionate care.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
- Document resident care accurately and timely.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Current Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, long-term care, hospital, or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
