Job Opportunity

The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a well-known healthcare organization in Russellville, AL and we are looking to find a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join their Emergency Department team. As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. You will serve as an advocate for patients of all ages, respond to emergencies quickly and effectively, and help maintain a safe and efficient ER environment.

Schedule:

PRN | Nights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial patient assessments, obtain histories, and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and IV therapy per hospital policy
  • Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions
  • Coordinate nursing care and make patient assignments based on acuity and staff competencies
  • Document patient status, interventions, and responses accurately and thoroughly
  • Support patients and families with psychosocial and emotional needs
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality care standards
  • Provide compassionate care to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State compact license
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS to be obtained within one year of hire
  • TNCC preferred
  • Previous ER experience strongly preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
