The Staff Pad has partnered with a healthcare organization in Russellville, Alabama seeking adetail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join their finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants tobuild a strong foundation in healthcare finance, gain exposure to hospital operations, and work closely with leadership on impactful financial initiatives.

• Exposure to hospital and multi-entity financial operations
• Direct collaboration with leadership, including the CFO
• Opportunity to grow within a stable, mission-driven environment
• Hands-on involvement in financial reporting, audits, and strategic initiatives

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and maintain the General Ledger
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end close
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
• Compile and analyse financial and statistical data
• Support financial operations across clinics and home health entities
• Partner with internal teams to support business and finance initiatives
• Assist with audits, cost reports, and compliance processes
• Work closely with leadership on special projects and financial analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of:

• General Ledger accounting
• Reconciliations and month-end processes

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage confidential financial data with discretion
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments

• Healthcare or hospital accounting experience
• Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-site operations
• Fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting
• Office-based role with regular collaboration across departments
