We are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Manager that can provide accounting expertise for our construction related business operations in Prescott Valley, Arizona, and Russellville, Arkansas.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and detail orientated individual who can be a solutions-oriented contributor to the team. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive timely monthly accounting close for assigned business units. Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Prepare business unit financial statements and assist in preparing consolidated financial statements
- Provide expertise in construction/cost accounting and financial analysis to help management improve company performance
- Create and improve accounting and business processes
- Maintain systems and internal controls for assigned business units
- Construction tax compliance
- Other duties assigned as needed
- Bachelors’ degree in accounting
- At least 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
- Construction accounting experience; job costing experience preferred
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, including pivot tables and experience working with accounting and ERP systems
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and make solid decisions
