The City of Russellville is seeking qualified and dependable individuals to join the District Court team.
TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLEFull-Time: $19.45 / Hour
Part-Time: $17.00 / Hour
The District Deputy Court Clerk provides administrative and customer service support to the District Court and assists the District Court Judge with daily court operations.
Responsibilities include:- Assist with court docket preparation and follow-up
- Receive and process payments for Small Claims and Civil filings
- Assist the public with Small Claims, Civil, Criminal, and Traffic information
- Answer telephone calls and correspondence
- Issue misdemeanor warrants
- Maintain accurate and confidential court records
- Perform clerical, computer, and administrative duties
- Work professionally with the public, court personnel, and City employees
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 12-18 months of related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and related computer software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively with others and provide excellent customer service
