Head Start​/Early Head Start Cook

AEL Cook

Under the direction of the Nutrition Manager, the Cook will promote child wellness by providing nutritional services that supplement those of the home and community by planning and preparing meals according to approved menus.

• 18 years old or older
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• At least six (6) months of full-service cooking experience preferred

Full-time schedule with weekends off, 33 paid days off in the first year, competitive pay, paid training, and a benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance.

Salary: $16.69 per hour.
