Job Summary /
Purpose:
Provides support to design bases. By focusing on design of baseline modifications and design basis control and maintenance. Design integrity maintained through effective configuration control of design output documents (i.e., specifications, calculations, drawings, test requirements and procedures).
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required: B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or other closely related scientific discipline/physical science generally associated with power plant operations.
Minimum experience required:
- Engineer, II: 2+ years’ experience (1+ year with master’s degree)
- Engineer, III: 4+ years’ experience (3+ years with PE/master’s degree)
- Engineer, Senior: 6+ years’ experience (5+ years with PE)
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Good to excellent communication skills. Experience / proficiency in PC use and applications, depending upon engineering level.
Certificates, licenses, etc. required: Desired: SRO license or certification on a PWR or BWR;
Professional Engineering license.
