Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.

As a senior level mechanical engineer, this position is responsible for the following:

• Performing initial and ongoing design reviews
• Delivering documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for process improvement
• Submitting a scope of work for each project that includes budgetary numbers and the goal of each project
• Developing Solid Works 3D CAD project drawings and details
• Troubleshooting design and assembly issues on site at customer location

The qualifications for this position include:

• 4-year degree in Engineering (mechanical specialization preferred), or at least 10 years of mechanical engineering work experience.
• Very strong knowledge of Solid Works 3D CAD software and engineering procedures regarding project detailing.
• Excellent prioritization and project development skills.
• Ability to listen effectively and follow specific directions.
• Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of general industrial safety guidelines.
