Education and/or Experience Must be enrolled in a four-year engineering program. Must be 1-2 years away from graduation. Willingness to work in a plant/manufacturing environment. Experience with software such as Microsoft Office tools Design and Drafting Software:
Solid Works and AutoCAD PLC/HMI Programming Software:
Siemens Fanuc, Allen Bradley, etc. Software Development: C++, Visual Studio, Basic, etc. Capability to reach electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulic machine prints Hands-on experience with engines and machining is preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to deal with ambiguity and take initiative Consistently demonstrate critical and innovative thinking skills Project Management skills preferred Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with anyone
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with designing and troubleshooting electronic circuits, electrical control cabinets, and integrated PLC/CNC systems Assist with maintaining machine software, machine backups, and maintenance electrical PM routines Analyzes operational problems and develops modifications in design/programming to improve efficiency Assist with training in installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Assist with updating documentation for maintenance procedures Assist in process improvements and cost reduction projects Participate and/or lead problem solving activities Other duties as assigned
