Job Overview
This position is responsible for working directly with a customer, delivering detailed analytical concepts, and backing up those concepts with fully developed Solid Works 3D CAD drawings and specifications that can be used in production. The successful candidate for this position will be able to take a project from the conceptual stage through to completion, and at times, supervise installation at the customer location.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Perform initial and ongoing design reviews
- Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for process improvement
- Submit a scope of work for each project that includes budgetary numbers and the goal of each project
- Develop Solid Works 3D CAD project drawings
- Collaborate with Project Managers on purchased components decisions and schedule
- Troubleshoot design and assembly issues during assembly process
