RN - ER

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room is responsible for assessing, planning, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for assigned patients during the scheduled shift. This role involves collaboration with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Conduct nursing assessments to identify actual and potential needs/problems of patients.
• Develop and implement organized and prioritized plans of care based on nursing assessments.
• Supervise nursing team members, making patient care assignments based on acuity and staff proficiency.
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and responses effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain a safe patient environment by adhering to infection control and safety policies.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and ensure proper execution of physician orders.

• Must have current state RN license.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in a clinical setting, preferably in emergency medicine.
• Current CPR certification required.
