Record Keeper

Carpenter Co has an immediate opening for a Record Keeper at our Russellville, Kentucky manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate production records for the department and communicate operation status with department supervisor and production staff on an ongoing basis.

Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to ensure production sheets and labels are prepared, present and completed in accordance with the production schedule.

• Calculate and record relevant production information as required.
• Keep record of all production run time and down time.
• Maintain and/or update set up information for each product run. Verify that production is in accordance with established set up.
• Calculate in process material and notify supervisor of when products changeover is to occur.
• Inspect finished product for defect or other production errors.
• Label and load material on racks or skids.
• Assist in other line operations as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Basic computer knowledge. SAP experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills.
