Security Officer - Access Control

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Manage access control at entry points by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing traffic to appropriate check-in areas;
Monitor access control systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment as assigned, reporting irregular activity and/or equipment issues according to site procedures;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as production floors, docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support site policy compliance
