Minimum Qualifications
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
- At least 1 year(s) experience
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record
- At least 1-3 years' experience in similar role or in an administrative environment
- Certificate/qualification in office administration or other administration qualification
- Routing telephone calls to senior management for escalated inquiries or logistics.
- Sorting of mails and reading materials (i.e updating daily reports) per department for distribution purposes
- Adherence to reporting standards and requirements.
- Scheduling appointments for patients at external service providers.
- Capturing and updating of medical schemes details including COIDA insurers, assist patients in obtaining pre-authorisation numbers for treatment with external service providers.
- Capturing of patients data and information and provide applicable changes or updates appropriately e.g contact nos etc.
- Adhere to good housing standards.
- Apply correct and applicable ICD 10 coding.
- Align to international responsible mining principles.
- Completion of billing records/data and ensure completion of charge sheets.
- Arrange patients' transporter/shuttle as per patient's specialist or hospital admission date and time.
- Administrative capturing of non-clinical information/data on multiple health information system such as Proclin/TRIMED/
- Filing, data storage and scanning of patient documents into Health information system.
- Customer service and escalation of queries.
- Capturing of customer survey questionnaires.
- External service provider support- CCMS/Specialists/Network Hospitals.
- Facilitate patient referrals to specialist with accurate earlier appointment date.
- Completion of relevant documentation.
- Receiving and distribution of incoming mails (appointments and scheduling).
- Maintain and comply with the SHE standards within the work environment.
- Directing clients to the specific service points.
- Perform administrative tasks within the department which include filing, gathering information by phone, letter, in person or research, recording and updating computer systems, photocopying, sorting and general office support.
- Identifies files for archiving (within a stipulated time period), records file details electronically and manually, physically bundles files according to laid down procedures and liaises with service for collection.
- Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties, including data collection, reviewing file details for accuracy, consolidating information into formats physically and electronically, maintaining office files and records.
- Processing of submissions and viewing of certification outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to patient registration standards and requirement.
- Client registration on electronic health information systems.
- Collection of data and information from relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders related to the date and information requirements.
- Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
