Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and skilled Motion Graphics Designer to join their production team in Rustenburg . In this role, you will be responsible for bringing concepts to life through visually stunning animation and dynamic motion graphics for a variety of media, including explainer videos, marketing campaigns, and social media content. You will collaborate closely with the creative director and other team members to develop engaging visual narratives that capture attention and communicate key messages effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented animator to contribute to impactful projects within a collaborative studio environment located in the North West province.

• Design and create engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for video projects, marketing materials, and digital platforms.
• Develop storyboards, concept art, and animatics to visualize and plan motion sequences effectively.
• Collaborate with the creative team to interpret project briefs and translate creative concepts into compelling animated content.
• Edit and assemble raw footage with motion graphics, adding effects, titles, and other visual elements to enhance the final product.
• Ensure all motion graphics adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and software advancements in motion graphics and animation.

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or Animator.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, and kinetic typography.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, timing, and storytelling through animation.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
