Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance while ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and financial controls.

The successful candidate will be involved in audit processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting the broader finance function. This position offers excellent exposure to operational and strategic finance activities while providing opportunities for continued professional growth.

• Assist with the full finance function
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting requirements

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles

• 2-3 years post-articles experience
• Audit exposure essential
• Experience with in a full finance function environment
• Exposure to financial reporting and reconciliations

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Sage Evolution advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
