About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Catering Manager with a specialization in events to oversee all catering operations for a prominent events venue in Rustenburg . This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional client management skills, and a deep understanding of event planning and execution within the hospitality sector . You will be responsible for client liaison, menu customization, event logistics, team coordination, and ensuring flawless execution of all catered events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, solidifying our position as a premier event caterer in Rustenburg .

• Manage all aspects of event catering, from initial client consultation and proposal development to final execution and follow-up.
• Develop customized menus and beverage packages tailored to client needs, budgets, and dietary restrictions.
• Oversee event setup, service staff, and coordination with other vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Manage catering budgets , track expenses, and ensure profitability for all events.
• Lead and train a team of catering staff, ensuring they provide professional and high-quality service.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand event requirements and build strong relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to food service and event management.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event catering management or a related hospitality management role.
• Proven track record in planning and executing successful events of various sizes.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and event logistics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
