Executive Housekeeper

About the Role

Our client, a well-regarded hotel in Rustenburg , is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Executive Housekeeper to lead their housekeeping operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation throughout the entire hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. You will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team, controlling inventory, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for pristine environments.

• Oversee and direct all housekeeping staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and conducting training.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures to maintain exceptional hygiene standards.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of all housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met and promptly address any deficiencies.
• Collaborate with other departments, particularly Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Maintain the housekeeping budget, track expenses, and implement measures for efficient resource utilization.

• Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a reputable hotel, ideally in the Rustenburg area.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and chemical safety.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, control inventory, and maintain high standards of quality.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
