About the Role
Our client, a prominent Recruitment Consultancy situated in Rustenburg, is seeking a results-driven Lead Recruitment Consultant with a specialization in sourcing and placing technical and engineering talent. In this leadership role, you will guide a team of recruiters, oversee key client accounts, and actively contribute to the strategic growth of the technical recruitment division. You will be instrumental in building robust talent pipelines for critical roles in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, and energy, contributing significantly to the operational success of clients in the North West region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving environment.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for complex technical and engineering positions.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract highly skilled candidates in niche technical fields.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their technical requirements and market demands.
- Drive business development efforts to expand the client base and secure new recruitment mandates.
- Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and ensure service level agreements are met or exceeded.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment, with a significant portion focused on technical or engineering roles within a consultancy.
- Proven leadership or team management experience in a recruitment setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the technical recruitment landscape, including key skill sets and market trends.
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development.
- Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines and technical jargon.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
