About the Role Our client is seeking an expert Agricultural Agronomist with a specialization in soil science to join their dynamic team based near Rustenburg , North West . This critical role will focus on advising farmers and agricultural businesses on optimizing soil health, nutrient management, and crop performance. You will conduct soil analyses, interpret data, and provide tailored recommendations to enhance productivity and sustainability.

- Conduct comprehensive soil testing and analysis to assess nutrient levels, pH, texture, and structure.

- Advise farmers on best practices for soil conservation, erosion control, and water management.
- Monitor crop development and provide recommendations for optimizing nutrient uptake and plant health.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in agronomy and soil science.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on soil health findings and recommendations for clients in Rustenburg .
- Master's degree or PhD in Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related agricultural science.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in agronomy, with a strong focus on soil health and crop nutrition.
- Proven experience in conducting and interpreting soil tests and developing management plans.
- Familiarity with various soil types and agricultural systems relevant to the North West region.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex scientific data into practical advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with farmers and stakeholders.
