Senior Production Geologist

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Production Geologist to join their exploration and production team based in Rustenburg . This role is crucial for identifying and evaluating new hydrocarbon resources and optimizing production from existing assets. You will be responsible for interpreting geological data, building subsurface models, and providing geological expertise to support field development and production enhancement efforts.

• Interpret and integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data to delineate hydrocarbon reservoirs.
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D geological models for exploration and production activities.
• Contribute to reserve estimation and resource assessment processes.
• Provide geological support for drilling operations, well planning, and completion design.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers and production teams to optimize field performance.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in geological exploration and production.

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in production geology, E&P sector.
• Proficiency in geological modeling software (e.g., Petrel, Geo Graphix).
• Strong understanding of structural geology, sedimentology, and stratigraphy relevant to oil and gas exploration.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
