About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the mineral processing industry, is committed to safe, sustainable, and efficient plant operations. With multiple operational plants and a strong focus on technical excellence, they offer comprehensive solutions spanning plant operations, maintenance, and project support. They are seeking a Trade Qualified Electrician to join their Mooinooi Plant team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to apply their skills in a hands-on operational environment, contribute to plant performance, and grow within a dynamic mining organization.


What you’ll be doing

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including pumps and related systems
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems in line with company and industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets while maintaining high safety standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work

What you’ll need

• Grade 12 certificate
• Section 13 Trade Certificate (mandatory)
• Minimum 3–4 years’ post-trade experience in the electrical field
• Experience with pumps and industrial electrical systems
• Plant or mining experience is highly beneficial
• Own transport and a valid driver’s license
• References from previous employers
• Clear criminal record and medically fit
