Semi-Skilled Electrician

Location: Rustenburg
Employment Type: Project-Based Contract

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Semi-Skilled Electrician to join our project team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will assist Electrical Artisans with maintenance and small projects while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.

• Assist with maintenance and small project activities.
• Support Electricians and other semi-skilled personnel with daily duties.
• Assist the Electrical Artisan with planning, executing, and completing work according to procedures and project timelines.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Work efficiently as part of a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings.
• Perform cable glanding, strapping, and termination for cables of all sizes.
• Conduct basic electrical testing using a multimeter and megger.
• Follow all company safety policies and site procedures.

Grade 12 (Matric) or higher.

Semi-Skilled Training Certificate.

Minimum 1 year of plant working experience

• Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), Section 22 and Section 23.
• Understanding of risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of cable installation and testing procedures.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
