Technical Installation Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Installation Engineer to join their team in Rustenburg . This is a hands-on role focused on the successful installation, configuration, and initial setup of specialized equipment and systems for various clients. You will be the primary technical point of contact on-site, ensuring that all installations meet stringent quality and performance standards.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously at client locations throughout the North West province. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring that client systems are deployed correctly from the outset, laying the foundation for reliable operation.

• Execute on-site installations of complex technical equipment and systems with precision and adherence to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform initial system configurations, testing, and calibration to ensure optimal performance post-installation.
• Diagnose and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
• Provide on-the-spot technical guidance and support to clients during the handover phase.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all installation activities, including progress, challenges, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company protocols during site operations.

• Demonstrable experience as an Installation Engineer or in a similar technical installation role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems relevant to the company's products.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a field environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Rustenburg region.
