Industrial Vehicle Mechanic

About the Role

Our client requires a skilled and experienced Industrial Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair their fleet of heavy-duty vehicles in Rustenburg .

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and diagnostic checks on a variety of industrial vehicles, including trucks and specialized equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and company procedures when working on vehicles.

• Qualified Mechanic with proven experience in heavy vehicle repair.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems on industrial vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a workshop environment in Rustenburg .
