About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Appliance Repair Technician to serve the community of Rustenburg. You will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, washing machines, and dryers. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer service abilities to ensure client satisfaction. You will work independently at customer locations, providing reliable and efficient repair services, contributing to the smooth functioning of households across the area.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in various home appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens.
• Perform necessary repairs, including replacing components like motors, heating elements, pumps, and control boards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and tune-ups to ensure optimal appliance performance and longevity.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and explain the scope of work to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in the service vehicle and at customer premises.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of appliance brands and models.
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers professionally.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and continuous training on new appliance technologies.
