About the Role

Our client is seeking eager individuals to join as Apprentice Boilermakers in Rustenburg . This apprenticeship offers a unique pathway into a highly skilled trade, involving the fabrication, assembly, and repair of pressurized vessels, tanks, and boilers. You will learn to work with heavy steel, utilizing welding, cutting, and fitting techniques under expert supervision. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to commit to rigorous training and development, building a career in an essential industrial sector.

• Assist senior boilermakers in fabricating, fitting, and assembling metal components for boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Learn and practice various welding and cutting techniques using appropriate equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures and equipment as directed.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a safe and orderly condition.

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, with a strong grasp of mathematics and technical drawing.
• A genuine interest in metal fabrication and the boilermaking trade.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to understand and follow complex instructions and safety procedures.
• Willingness to work in demanding industrial environments and perform physical tasks.
