Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join their operations team in Rustenburg . This critical role involves ensuring the reliable operation of a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger operational unit, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on industrial machinery according to schedule.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Conduct repairs on equipment, including welding, fabrication, and parts replacement.
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics , and blueprints to guide maintenance and repair activities.
• Respond to emergency repair calls to minimize production interruptions.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with welding equipment and various hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, including schematics.
• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are a significant advantage.
