Apprentice Boilermaker - Construction & Maintenance

Our client, a reputable construction and industrial maintenance firm operating in Rustenburg, North West , is seeking dedicated individuals for an Apprentice Boilermaker position. • Assist senior boilermakers in the fabrication and erection of steel structures and pressure vessels.
• Learn and apply various welding techniques (e.g., arc, gas) to join metal components.
• Operate cutting, grinding, and shaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for fabrication work.
• Perform tasks related to the repair and maintenance of boilers, tanks, and other metal structures.
• Measure, mark, and lay out metal materials for cutting and assembly.
• Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Participate actively in all training sessions, workshops, and site‑specific safety orientations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures diligently.

• A strong interest in metal fabrication, welding, and construction trades.
• Good mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various site conditions.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Grade 10 or equivalent;
  Matric with Technical subjects is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be willing to enroll in and complete a formal Boilermaker apprenticeship program.
• Candidates residing in or near Rustenburg, North West are preferred.
