Mail Processor – Overview
The Postal Service is hiring nationwide for the position of Mail Processor. This entry‑level role offers paid training and does not require prior experience.
Responsibilities- Perform various functions to accomplish the processing of mail.
- Sort and handle mail.
- Prepare mail for shipment to the next destination.
- Assist in shipping and receiving mail.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required (no college required).
- U.S. citizen or green card holder.
- No previous experience required.
- Starting salary ranging from $26.47 to $43.62 per hour (average $72,400 per year with full benefits).
