Overview

Lecturer positions are available in the Mathematics and Statistics program within the College of Engineering and Science (COES). Lecturers play a central role in teaching, chairing committees, providing leadership in courses, and supporting institutional needs while advancing a parallel promotion pathway to tenure track.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics and statistics.
• Chair and participate in departmental and college committees.
• Provide leadership in course development and other academic initiatives.

• Earned a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field with significant graduate work in these disciplines.
• Demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching ability, strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collegially and independently, with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Willingness to keep abreast of developments in Mathematics and Statistics.
