Position Overview
Louisiana Tech University’s Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences invites applications for two tenure‑track positions to begin Fall 2026. The appointment is 100% for the nine‑month academic year (September to late May). Salary and start‑up packages are competitive.
Qualifications- Hold a doctorate in a psychology subfield;
Industrial/Organizational Psychology expertise preferred. Current ABDs encouraged to apply. - Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the candidate’s areas of research and expertise.
- Aptitude for advising undergraduate psychology majors and/or doctoral and master’s students.
- Demonstrated ability to be research‑active.
Candidates will be evaluated on the overall quality of their academic preparation and scholarly work, evidence of research ability, interdisciplinary contributions to the university’s research mission, commitment to high‑quality classroom instruction and student mentoring, and strength of recommendations. We encourage applicants whose teaching and scholarship advance an understanding of cultural and individual diversity in society.
