PositionMRO/Inventory Coordinator
Responsibilities- Maintain a well-organized environment by categorizing items with proper labels
- Load/unload delivered or picked up inventory supplies
- Ensure all items match purchase orders and report discrepancies
- Ensure timely receipt of all inventory items into the inventory system
- Work with suppliers to return defective or incorrect items
- Create purchase orders for new and restock inventory items
- Conduct regular checks to verify stock levels and address discrepancies
- Manage inventory accuracy service level metrics (cycle count)
- Validate MRO auto-reorder of parts (min/max levels)
- Ensure new inventory items are not duplicated in the system
- Create new material numbers for parts in the SAP system
- Engage with vendors on inventory and services
- Support maintenance ensuring the team has necessary parts and tools
- Assist Maintenance Planner with maintenance work orders
- Verify parts and tools are in stock to enable mechanics to complete work orders
- Wear required personal protective equipment
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas per 5S principles
- Maintain scrap metal and schedule pickups as needed
- Certified forklift operator
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with inventory tracking software; SAP preferred

WorkEnvironment
Industrial, manufacturing setting with heavy machinery, ovens and mobile equipment. Environment may be hot, humid, or cold and may include wet, dusty, or uneven walking surfaces. High-noise areas, vibration and fumes may be present. Some areas may have airborne particulates. PPE includes steel-toed shoes, ear protection, eye protection, and in some areas may require dust masks, gloves, respirators, or head protection.
