Boys & Girls Club of North Louisiana Expansion Coordinator

Due to the continued expansion and growth of the organization, the VISTA Expansion Development Coordinator will help build sustainable, scalable operational foundation that extends the organization’s mission into a new region of Louisiana (Northwest). The VISTA will assist in establishing the essential elements needed to expand to the new region and additional sites as well as assist in establishing the framework to build a partnership network in Northwest Louisiana.

The VISTA will draft a sustainable structure to establish a Northwest Regional Advisory Committee to promote leadership, volunteerism, safety initiatives, fundraising efforts, advocacy and community involvement.

Assist in establishing the essential elements & framework needed to expand to the new region & additional sites by researching the region about the population, crime rates, lower economic areas, school districts, schools with low academic performance, etc to identify potential site locations;
Create a templates for the expansion to include the need, objectives, goals, outcomes, budgets. Assist in establishing the framework needed to expand by collaborating with the CEO and COO to assess the internal operations of the organization (staffing, communication tools, payroll/HR);
Create internal operational procedures to address the addition of the expansion;
Research and identify local resources including individuals (key leaders), local government, schools/universities, churches non-profits, businesses who could partner with the organization;
Build an editable database of potential partnerships in the region.
