LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse1.0 FTE, Professional, Ruston, LA, US
Ruston Rheumatology is seeking a LPN to join our team. This position offers competitive pay, insurance, 401k with a company match, PTO and paid holidays.
Responsibilities- Administers routine services in caring for patients.
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information and performs appropriate tasks based on patient needs.
- Takes patient vital signs.
- Reviews medical records and updates new information.
- Administers medications and treatments.
- Monitors patients after medications and treatments.
- Administers immunizations and draws blood for labs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Practical Nursing.
- Pharmacology written examination satisfactory.
- BLS certification required.
- Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephone, fax machines, etc.
- Current licensure in the State of Louisiana.
