Maintenance Technician – The Preserve | Off-Campus Student Housing

This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced student housing environment. You’ll be responsible for completing service requests, supporting unit turns, and maintaining building systems — all while delivering a high level of service to our residents.

• Prior maintenance experience in student housing, multifamily, or similar environment required
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• HVAC certification or hands‑on experience preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and safety‑focused
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
• Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with residents and team members
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

• Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep systems running efficiently
• Assist with unit turns and make‑ready processes during move‑in and move‑out periods
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance areas and tools
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and on‑call responsibilities
• Work closely with the onsite team to ensure a safe, student‑ready community
• Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience
