Jim Taylor Ford Lincoln is seeking a full-time Ford Diesel Technician to join our team at our Ruston, LA location. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Ford diesel vehicles while supporting a service department focused on quality, efficiency, and doing the job right. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically strong, and motivated to grow. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving problems, producing quality repairs, and contributing to a shop that values accountability and teamwork.

- 2+ years of diesel service experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and Ford diesel diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer competencies
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately on Ford diesel vehicles
- Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs or maintenance
- Communicate repair needs clearly with service advisors and team members
- Complete work according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop processes
- Take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
