AI Architect

We are seeking an AI Architect to design and lead enterprise AI solutions. This role is very similar to a Data Architect, with a strong focus on AI system design, architecture, and platform strategy. The ideal candidate is hands-on, has worked directly with models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and agentic AI, and understands how to design and scale AI agents within modern cloud environments.

Position

Description:

• Design end-to-end AI architectures that integrate data platforms, models, and AI services
• Architect and implement Generative AI solutions, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic AI patterns
• Design, build, and scale AI agents, with a strong understanding of their orchestration, memory, tooling, and lifecycle
• Provide architectural guidance on model selection, integration, deployment, and scalability
• Partner closely with data architects and data engineering teams to ensure AI solutions align with enterprise data architectures
• Design AI solutions on AWS, leveraging cloud-native services and best practices
• Lead proofs of concept (POCs) and guide solutions from prototype to production
• Ensure AI architectures meet security, governance, and enterprise standards
• Communicate architectural designs clearly to both technical and business stakeholders

Required Skills:

• 6+ years experience in an AI Architect, Data Architect, or similar architecture role
• Hands-on experience working with AI models, RAG architectures, and agentic AI
• Experience building AI agents and understanding their architectural tradeoffs
• Strong understanding of AI system design from an architecture perspective
• Experience designing solutions on AWS
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise or legacy systems
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
• Experience defining AI standards, patterns, or governance in enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of data architecture concepts, including structured and unstructured data
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
