Responsibilities :
- Involve working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
- Connect to various data sources (e.g., SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud data platforms, flat files) and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) as needed.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver effective data visualization solutions.
- Develop and implement data governance and quality standards for Tableau assets.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Tableau usage and best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of data and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, industry trends, and data visualization best practices.
- Document technical specifications, design documents, and user guides for Tableau solutions.
- The ideal candidate will be passionate about data visualization, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 7-10 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports.
- Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data modeling and data preparation for reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
